Fold a strip of blue or yellow and tie it around where the casing is, take another shot and see what the contrast does? Or, maybe add back a dark blue binding around the neckline and sleeves? Can you test the theory by photoshop?

sammiSammi357https://www.blogger.com/profile/09909820555868904419noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-355066585699515656.post-7653154037062236292012-10-18T18:08:39.386-04:002012-10-18T18:08:39.386-04:00Lisa, blue? That's how the pattern was designed, but I do not like to accent my waist, so I don't. I'm wondering if I should stick to my T&T knit dress pattern.marysewshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04482564881192516660noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-355066585699515656.post-78686999813074746772012-10-17T13:06:13.395-04:002012-10-17T13:06:13.395-04:00Oh Mary! How about some contrast fabric: a faux drawstring tie at the waist, lop off some of the hem and add a contrast panel (and maybe a bit shorter, not too short :-), and lop off a bit of the sleeve and rebind in contrast. Might look really cute!Cocohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13784505178222083364noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-355066585699515656.post-24506419169531834762012-10-15T03:39:24.574-04:002012-10-15T03:39:24.574-04:00I think it may be a too large size around the shou...I think it may be a too large size around the shoulders - although if you had to take in a lot around the waist - maybe it is just a too large size all over. It does look like it will be a nice cool dress for summer.BeaJayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14071033898844018967noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-355066585699515656.post-36130340205553425622012-10-14T22:29:50.049-04:002012-10-14T22:29:50.049-04:00Try shortening it--somewhere around the knee area ...Try shortening it--somewhere around the knee area I'd say.glormhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08864222002627736492noreply@blogger.com
